1st of all, this is the 4th year that i working with LKW booth. For this year... All i can say... "Very interesting and challenging..." Because the booth on our left is doing air brush tattoo, and the booth on our right is doing pure indian henna tattoo and... We have very limited tattoo artist!!! b-BUT, our business is still going smooth, everyone of us did their part very well. Good Job GUYS!!!

Rainforest World Music Festival T-Shirt Design 2009 Press Release.

Borneo Post, Wednesday, June 24, 2009, Today!! =D

Well, this is the 3rd time for the industry-within-the-university (indusity) project between Limkokwing and Sarawak Tourism Board (STB)
for the 12th annual
Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF).

This are the four series designs i did for this year, the 1st one will be for merchandise, middle one is for children-T, 3rd one is for Volunteers and Performers, and last one is for Lady-T (Black and White)... Well, The elements that i used/applied on the designs and reflecting the spirit of the Rainforest to capture the overall theme of the festival, and produced bold designs to ensure clarity which will, in turn, complement this annual event.

My Diploma Final Project

My Display Booth

From what you see in the photo is my presentation booth, now being display in the gallery. My topic that i look into for my final project is "Arts & Crafts", the style that i applied on the painting and artworks are all based on our local largest culture - Iban, i produced a several artworks, which is my paintings and my drawings, materials: acrylic on canvas, series painting, comic, and instant drawing by using marker.

Lastly, The little example or sample of my Gallery's Interior look

My gallery is inspired with the Iban Traditional Longhouse, reason why i use the longhouse concept for my interior because i'm trying to bring the traditional culture to the town, and my target audience are tourist, while outsider visit my gallery, they can roughly know how does the Iban Traditional Longhouse's interior look like even though they are in town. But if they want to visit the real Iban Traditional Longhouse, Sarawak Cultural Village will be the best place to go. =)
